Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-03

This policy explains what information 96K collects through 96k.io, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions: hello@96k.io.

What we collect

When you use the Start a Project form: your name, company or brand, email or phone, what you want made, where it will be used, deadline, budget range, notes, and any files you choose to upload.

When you talk to Mira (Ask Mira): the messages you write and Mira's replies, and, if you choose to share them, your name and contact details with a short summary of your request.

Technical information: the page you arrived on, the referring site and campaign tags (for example utm_source), and a one-way hash of your IP address that we use only to limit abuse. We do not store your raw IP address.

If you answer the question "Did Mira feel different?", we store your answer.

Why we use it

To reply to your request and prepare a proposal.

To run and improve the website and Mira, and to understand which content and campaigns bring people to us.

To protect the site from spam, bots and abuse.

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Mira is an AI

Mira is an AI character created and directed by 96K. Her replies are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. She cannot make commitments on prices, timelines or contracts on behalf of 96K; a person on our team confirms those.

Please don't share sensitive personal information (such as health, financial or identity documents) in the chat.

Enter / First Read

On the Enter page (/enter) Mira gives you a First Read of your brand. To do that she reads only what you give her: the public page of your website that you paste, the images or screenshots you upload, frames taken from a short video you choose (the frames are taken in your browser; the video itself is not uploaded), and what you type or answer.

This material is processed by our AI provider to produce the read. Like everything Mira says, the read is a set of first thoughts generated by an AI model and can be wrong.

If you don't save the read, the session is deleted after 7 days: the page, files, answers and read are removed, and we keep only anonymous counts (for example, how many reads were started and finished).

If you save the read with your email, it is kept with your email as a lead, so 96K can follow up with you about your brand, and we email you a private link to it. The link works only for whoever holds it; we don't store it in a readable form.

To keep your session and limit abuse, the Enter page sets one essential, httpOnly cookie, 96k_enter, which lasts 30 days. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and the Enter page has no ads or tracking scripts.

The studio / Brand memory

If you save your First Read with your email, you can enter the 96K studio (/studio). Entering creates an account for that email, so you can come back to your brand.

In the studio, Mira keeps a brand memory: what you tell her (your notes, answers and uploads, in your own words) and what she understands from it. We keep it so work can be created for your brand. Like everything Mira says, what she understands is generated by an AI model and can be wrong, and you can correct it.

The brand memory is visible to the members of your brand and to the 96K team. It is processed by the providers listed in the next section.

Drafts you have typed but not sent are kept only in your browser, on your device.

We keep your brand memory until you ask us to delete it. You can ask at any time, and we will.

Who processes it for us

We use trusted service providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting, bot protection and AI gateway), Anthropic (the AI model behind Mira, accessed through the gateway), Supabase (database, file storage, and studio accounts and sign-in) and Resend (sending our internal notification emails, and the email with your private First Read and studio entry link when you save a read or ask for the link again).

These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside your country.

What stays on your device

The site uses your browser's local and session storage, not advertising cookies, to remember your language, keep your current chat session, remember the campaign you arrived from during your visit, and remember the last idea you worked on with Mira on this device. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings.

The cookies set for visitors are all essential, and none is used for advertising or tracking. There are three: the 96k_enter session cookie on the Enter page, described above; a short-lived cookie, 96k_studio_claim, which holds your emailed studio link for up to 30 minutes while you enter the studio and is removed once you are in; and the studio sign-in cookie below.

In the studio, unsent studio drafts are kept in your browser's session storage on this device, and nowhere else.

Being signed in to the studio uses an essential sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in on this device. It is not used for advertising or tracking.

How long we keep it

Chat conversations are kept for up to 12 months. Project requests and their files are kept for up to 24 months, or for as long as we work together, and then deleted or anonymized unless the law requires us to keep them.

Unsaved Enter sessions are deleted after 7 days, keeping only anonymous counts. A First Read you save with your email is kept with your lead, like a project request. Your studio brand memory is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@96k.io. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable data protection law.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above.
